Lorraine Kelly yomps into action for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity
Stripe is delighted to be working with ABF The Soldiers’ Charity again to raise the profile of the 2012 Alliance Trust Cateran Yomp, following the inaugural event earlier this year. Stripe launched the second annual ‘yomp’ with the help of national treasure and Honorary Colonel of the Black Watch Cadets, Lorraine Kelly.
In her hometown of Dundee, Lorraine joined five soldiers from the Tayforth UOTC in exercising ahead of the 52 mile yomp, which takes place in Perthshire from 30th June – 1st July 2012. The Alliance Trust Cateran Yomp raises money for The Soldiers’ Charity which makes financial grants to support serving and former soldiers and their families in their time of need.
The Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust - which awards loans and grants to small businesses across Scotland – will receive a third of the proceeds as the chosen charity of the title sponsor Alliance Trust.
If you want to set yourself a challenge for 2012, why not get a team together and register now for the Alliance Trust Cateran Yomp just visit: www.soldierscharity.org/yomp or contact yomp@soldierscharity.org
